Heartless Thoughts

by Eden   Apr 17, 2005

See the victims of the cursed times.
See the pulsing veins of rhymes.
Amid the darkness of the mind
Invincible thoughts...(...Sooo kind)
Hear my mocking voice so old?
Crimes untold, my thoughts so bold.
Hear the rushing river sound?
Eroding rocks embedded in ground.
See the melancholy tears...
Children screaming at their fears.
Follow psychological bend;
Broken hearts that never mend.
Cheat the long-lived song of life,
Seal the second term of strife.
So much in our time we have to feel...
...And not enough time to heal.
Cry your empty thoughts away
Steadfast brace for another day
Scream a call for angelic plight,
But demonic sinews fight.
Mental battles strained anew.
Nothing pathetic you can do...
For the struggles rest within the mind...
Invincible thoughts...(...again...so kind)
Try and rid your mind of thought
A cradle and riddles of frustration then brought
See? It's useless to never think at all
To try would crush your sanity into the wall.
