The Void In My Heart

Tonight the tears are flowing,
With this void in my heart,
Memories are setting in,
And it's tearing me apart.

So many days of my life,
I need Mom so bad,
She truly was my inspiration,
The best Mom I could have ever had.

We were blessed with a special bond,
That sometimes is hard to find,
She was truly a special lady,
That I was proud to walk beside.

I miss our times together,
And talking on the phone,
I miss the love Mom gave me,
And at times I feel so alone.

Even though these Memories,
Usually brings me tears,
I'll always cherish them,
They'll remain through out my years..

Missing her will never leave me,
And the love I have for her too,
I'll survive with God's help,
He'll continue to guide me through.

I know God knows whats best,
And she's in a better place than I,
But that still don't stop the hurt,
And the tears that I cry.

Days like this can be hard,
And they truly bring me down,
With no questions asked--I praise and thank God,
For I know in my heart who wears the crown.
