Lady of Black

by No Motiv?   Apr 18, 2005

Lady of black-
How does it feel?
Skin burned with
God's light...

You hold your head
so high,
and your pronounced
jaw line does not
falter.

Your brown eyes
burn into mine;
Telling horror stories
of your ancestor's past.

But you do not
waver. You stand strong.
Your hair, so thick,
and more brittle than mine,
You seem so proud to show.

You reek of sultry
confidence,
perhaps proud of your
laborious mothers.

But you, are a symbol,
lady of black.
You are power.

Entwine with me,
Meet my hand,
So God's two children
may come to peace.

I am a lady of white,
proud to call you
my sister.

Ah Splendid... Good work in combining the two sisters... not so bad. I'm interested in "god's two children." Is that refering Christ and Satan?
