Bloodred X

by Eden   Apr 19, 2005

My eyes are the crevices of time...
I see all that might be and has been...
I can see my own death before me, in the present. For I am suffocating in the wiles of this world.
Forever shall I be tormented by the shadows of humanity...how could I compare?
I must not think these droning thoughts if I am to pervade the mystery of the future...to survive death by morality.
I can see what others cannot in themselves:

Hate
Destruction
Corruption
Fears
Tears
Nightmares of the times, and
Daylight's petty crimes

Evil withstanding marks my spot
with a crimson X
My dainty shadow plays within the gray
They do not see the real me...
...Only the half on the side of Light.
I am forever lost to the world of man
For my mind is no longer composed of their fertility.
I leave the light with death's grace
For death has taken me by my hand
She dances with me with subtle music
And I find that I am in peace
Death is peace...they say.
Do they really believe it?
I leave my place in this world with the reddest rose...and the sharpest thorn.

There to lure the wondering traveler and there to prick them with its sting.
I have disappeared...
