Satan Has One More Demised Win

by Noir Fleur   Apr 19, 2005

It was an utter surprise to me
when I found out of your deceit.
My knees buckled beneath me
and I collapsed to your feet.

Upon your once beautiful face
there was a look of scorn and hate.
To believe that I once believed
that our young love was fate.

I reach up to you with a trembling hand and a pleading eye.
But when I glance up to your face,
all I see is a gray, cloudy sky.

You had left me alone
on this cold, unforgiving land.
I no longer have a strong will
to reach out a trembling hand.

Instead, I turn to a razor blade
it's edge grasped tightly in my fist.
Scared and afraid,
I place it's cold steel to my wrist.

As my life flashes before my eyes,
your face plagues my guilty mind.
I try and look for a solution for life,
but realize there is nothing to find.

Slowly, but surely,
I drag the blade across my skin.
At that, blackness took me in...
Satan has one more demised win...
