Ano-Domini

When darkness strives to make itself
A part of Light in God,
It merely dissipates...
Anathema to its midst.

When black hearts strive to make themselves
A part of Life Abundant,
They merely shy away in shame
For never could they fit its box.

When shadows hark to part themselves
From the soul its made to follow,
Forever it will awaken after
And find itself inevitably chained.

When chaos seeks to find its end
And make its home in peace,
It quickly finds it\'s outcast there
And home to me it clings.

When I, the Darkness...
When I, the Black Heart...
When I, the Shadow of Shadows...
And when I, Chaos
Find each other on eclipsed moon streams,
All we can do is smile...
...Soon we find we can do so much more.
