Am I Alive?

by Mustardhart   Apr 20, 2005

These haunting thoughts that i would die
Coming from nowhere and lurking
Ravaging my flourishing manhood
I can only watch and keep my cool

But how long will I be the fool of time?
I reckon I must fight and fight it through
Not to prove I am man enough
But to show the fight for life is for all

Dread of the cosmos and what is to come
Fear of the terror of night
Behind the clouds a breezing ill befalls us all
Like some magnetic pull of witches

One dared to say, you are void of God now
Another said, your devotion is weak
Yet another hissed with disdain for my soul
Am I alive or i will be cold in the grave with these screams?

I wait, and wait and wait!
I pray and pray and pray
I cry and cry and cry still
Till salvation comes and relieve from this labor.
