Off to college

So many of my friends
Will be going far away
Off to start a new life
I wish that they could stay
Renee is off to college
I'll miss running with her
Will we ever talk again
This I am not sure
Laura is going far away
And I don't know what to do
That day is coming up
And I wish it wasn't true
They're going to go far in life
Which is really good I guess
The only one not leaving me
Is my dear big sister Tess
There's Jenn, Quinn, and Alicia
The coolest ones from cheer
There's Courtney, Jamilynn, and Phylicia
Who I also hold so dear
I'm just about a month
They all will graduate
Most will go to college
Off in another state
The day that they all leave
Will put me through some pain
When I come back to school next fall
Things just won't be the same
