Ballad of the Psychotic Reporter

by Psychotic Tendencies   Apr 21, 2005

Struggling madly
to break free of restraints
strong arms reach out
to hold him in place

the woman walks in
silent and confident
clutching her clipboard
with pencil in hand

she sat down before him
and stared in his eyes
finding nothing there
but black soulless orbs

the hours ticked by
as her paper was filled
with note on conditions
and symptoms of madness

she turned for a second
and then heard a noise
and soon found herself
under piercing black gaze

struggles to break free
as he snaps at her viciously
to rise on his knees
when she lets out a scream

in fright she got up
and ran to the door
anxious to flee
from the nightmarish hell

she turns once again
and sees the guards coming
with the strait jacket
that was just on his person

the door opens as he exits
whistling lightly
leaving her in that room
to fall prey
to her mind

~Yeah it's a long one.~
