Echoes

So distant
Yet so near
Losing hope
Gaining fear

Everything so big
Cries ring out
Feeling small
Adding doubt

The walls seem to move
Move so far away
The echoes get close
And we lose this day

Cry after cry
Tear shed after tear
Losing Faith
Abounding fear

Walls open
Light pours in
Spreading hope
Echoes ring once again
