Why do we hide our true selves?
From the rest of community
We have the freedom of speech
So lets take the opportunity

We all have different habits
Things we dare not tell our friends
I hope and pray for that day
When all the secrecy ends

We all have our unusual moments
So why not shout out loud
We should be thankful for individuality
You should stand up and be proud

I tell others exactly what I think
I’m unique I don’t like to be plain
But just because I express my self
You tell others I’m insane

I’m just a girl that likes to have fun
Why hide my feelings inside?
We all have our unusual habits
But I have nothing to hide!

I would never hurt someone’s feelings
Some things are better left unsaid
But telling others what you feel
Is no reason for turning red

Why not be on top of the world
And let no one bring us down
Let our confidence rise sky high
Lets turn this world around!
