Echos

Blood of one thousand teardrops,
and echos of one thousand screams,
footsteps of one thousand soldiers,
march through my dreams.

Bullets through two thousand wounds,
and echos of two thousand yells,
pawprints of two thousand wolves,
to the ringing of so many bells.

Three thousand drops of water,
three thousand echos of drops,
three thousand frozen hearts,
as I cry within my room.
