Nature is distraught
unable to cope with the distance between
surrounded by gray
showing no emotion

clouds begin to break
tears fall all around
wondering why your gone
no light in sight
when will you return?

days go by
your still not here
searching for someone
who cant be found
thunder screams from the heavens
where is my love?

I see you from afar
rays shine through
warming my heart
hear the birds sing with joy
all is as it should be
with you home again
