Crimson ribbon

by chelsea   Apr 29, 2005

Every night i tuck myself in with the crimson sin
the knife tightly slitting my skin and letting the pain overcome me and win

i hold the veins that leak with pain and tears fall from my eyes
as my heart unties
the crimson ribbon rests on my arm as i say goodnight to all of my harm

i turn off the light and watch myself bleed as reminisce that i will never succeed

my swollen eyes shutter as i glisten with fear for i am just in more pain for just one more year
