Getting Over You

by Amanda   May 1, 2005

I hate you,
I hope you die.
I’m sick and tired,
Of your lies.

You used to make me smile.
You used to make me laugh.
But, thankfully that’s all,
Part of the past.

I wasted too much time,
Wanting you by my side.
But when I finally got you,
All those feelings eventually died.

You cheated on me,
So many times.
But I didn’t care,
As long as you were mine.

Then, suddenly I realized,
You were doing me wrong.
I was just another chick.
You played me all along.

I hope you know,
I’m getting over you.
I won’t tear myself down anymore.
I have better things to do.
