Lost in my own demise

Feeling so bound
In this life of mine
Theres no way out
Of life's design

Stuck in the darkness
Without any light
For me it seems
Like nothing is ever right

I'm always sad
And feeling so depressed
But they think I'm happy
They never would have guessed

Because I'm always putting on a smile
So they can't see
The feelings I possess
Deep down inside of me

They don't pay attention
They don't have a clue
That every time I smile
It is never true

My life's so perfect
That what they all say
But they don't know
What I go through each day

They don't know I wish to die
To never again rise
And that I'm always standing here
Lost in my own demise
