The Whisper

The Whisper
By Emily

The glares that met her eyes,
The words that destroyed her,
The hand that hurts her every night,
The scars that tell her history,
The history of an orphan, who cries alone,
The tale of a girl who has lived in more houses then I,
The story of a child who whispers to her mom
The whisper that is heard only by her,
The mom had vanished one night,
The night was cold, and she was sleeping,
The man she was sleeping with said that he would giver her $700.
The money could buy them a room for a month or two.
The man took the mom; never to return.
