This Is For The Real

by Renee   May 1, 2005

This is for the real who feel the pain and endure
For the real who with, no stimulant, no drugs, no injected liquids,
they live with and accept the fear
because they know theres no REAL way around it
so they tower over it, conquer, over power it

Those brought up in pain,
they gain from their surroundings
learning from others mistakes, they wait, their knowledge surmounting

This is for the real who deal with the struggles of life
you ain't real, you've been smoking them trees all night
claiming that no one can hear your silent cries,
but the man upstairs has been waiting for you to come to the light,
and I've been here the whole time
what do you think I wrote this for?
just call 591-0284, or,
come straight to my door,
now don't tell me no one cares,
were always near,
see, you just don't want to be real...
yea I've been there.

This is for the real that feel the pain and don't cover it up
The real who don't kneel to liquor when the going gets tough,
They toughen up and get going,
never slowing down.
