Sing

by Lyudmila   May 3, 2005

Lines of blue with white between
Bring tears to my eyes.
Ask my heart for happiness
It'll tell you only lies.

Twist my fingers 'round this pen
Only to loose my grip.
You are but a step away
And my heart can't make the trip.

Bird of white, bird of black
Let me hear your song.
Sing for me tonight
And I might sing along.

Don't keep that smile upon your face
When you're sad like me.
Or happiness wont fly to you
The you will not be free.

So spread your wings and fly away
To the clouds above.
Fly but and inch from me
And I can't feel your love.

I wont cry tonight
Tonight I sing to myself.
I don't need your music
My voice has its own wealth
