They Won't Care (cutting/suicide)

by Tasha   May 4, 2005

They laugh and they smile
They had fun on this day
While she sat in her room
And cut her world away

She couldn't imagine
How it would feel
To for once just be happy
To wear a smile for real

But they couldn't imagine
The pain of the knife
They don't know how it feels
To take your own life

But this girl was smart
For she chose the knife
It was so much better now
She caused no one strife

She felt she was superior
She could take the pain
She was proud of a job well done
Another scar in the game

They would cry and scream
The blade would cut them deep
But it would never hurt her
She liked to watch her blood seep

Then it would fall to the carpet
Where it would dry up and disappear
Along with the worries and hurt
Along with each seperate fear

For her fears would go away
With each new cut she'd make
Every time she could die
But it was a risk she wanted to take

She loved how it felt each time
Things would spin and she'd fall
But tell no one to worry about her
Because they wouldn't care at all.
