So many mistakes,
One girl hid.
It's not surprising,
It ended the way it did.
She put herself through so much.
For no reason at all.
Just to see,
How far she could fall.
She found it fun,
To cause herself pain.
Her favorite way,
Was causing red rain.
Cutting was a release,
From all reality.
She didn't think,
That life was free.
She thought she needed to pay,
Her way through life.
By using her little friend,
That little red knife.
She hates herself,
And didn't know why.
The only other way to solve it,
was to cry.
She didn't like crying,
Not one bit.
For her,
It just didn't fit.
The knife was much better.
This she thought.
You see,
She was never taught.
Taught to love, to care, to know.
She just thought life was a game.
With a stupid little board.
She caused her parents shame.
Even though it was all their fault.
They just didn't understand.
They were never there,
Not even to hold her hand.
She had no one at all.
She was all alone.
For Gods sake,
They wouldn't even let her use a phone.
She was a sheltered child,
Afraid of being who she is.
Then one day she met a guy,
And thought she could be his.
She loved him so much, and he said he loved her too.
She knew no better,
Cause that was the wrong thing to do.
He never cared for her,
Not one bit.
He didn't even care,
When she got hit.
One lonely night, when she was expecting him there.
He forgot to come,
And she said she would no longer care.
She went on a walk,
To try and solve the pain.
But it didn't help.
Not even the red rain.
She walked and walked.
Without stopping at all.
She tripped in the road,
And began to call.
She broke her leg,
And couldn't get up.
But again no one cared.
They forgot about her,
and left her there.
She got hit by a car,
and almost died.
And he didn't do anything.
Not even cried.
So the girl killed herself,
the night after that.
She couldn't handle,
Any more of that.
She's gone, and to this day, I don't understand.
How no one cared, not even a bit.
You see, this girl was once me.
Yeah, hard to believe, I guess.
I'm in heaven now, a better place.
Where everyone cares.
