Autobiography

by Heatha Ashlee   May 5, 2005

Wripped up pictures
And crumbled letters
This is what I get
For trying to put everything together

Pulling my hair
Trying not to scream
Hoping to wake up
From this awful dream

But this isn't a dream
This is my life
And before trying to change it
I better think twice

So
This is my autobiography
Just when you think
You knew everything about me

Family.. ?? ..
What is that
I refer to it as
Never looking back

Friends.. ?? ..
It's hard to know
Who to trust with your secrets
And who to just let go

Love.. ?? ..
Robbed me for my heart
So yes, I've been heartless
From the start

And life.. ?? ..
Is unfair and full of lies
But live it anyway
You get by

My autobiography
Is full of smiles and tears
And it continues to grow with me
Each and every year.
