Hopelessly Fading

by XxXangeltearsXxX   May 6, 2005

A single tear escaped the eye of one who walked alone
The silent screaming filled her mind with fears she\'d once outgrown
But back they were, their hungry senses searching for a feed
They attacked her mind, invaded her soul and satisfied their greed

A whimper of such deep despair was all that could be heard
Inside the house where all the things that haunted her occurred
A seed of doubt was planted in her torn and broken heart
Then night drew in, and night is where the torture has to start

Demon of obscenity circled round her bed
They taunted teased and frightened her, put bad thoughts in her head
When at last she felt she\'d rather die than feel the pain
The hellbent demons disappeared and she was alone again

And so this went on every night for many tortured years
The demons came with burning rage and added to her fears
Once again that silent tear escapes her lonely eyes
And so it will do everyday until the day she dies
