Belief in Nothing

by Eden   May 7, 2005

Believe in what is leaving existence...
Maybe it will stay.
Forever is such a long time...
To never speak of Never.
Believe in all that might come to be...
Maybe it will change.
Instead of falling into the waters
Of the blissful and arrogant sands.
Believe in what you do not know;
The truth will still stand by...
Acceptance thereof is all that is needed.
Persistence in the seasoning here.

Desist the paranormal views of righteousness...
Where is purity within?
Everything is corrupted now...
What once was pure is now sin.
Canst you see that changing time?
When all that lives will die?
You do not open your eyes to truth...
You do not even try.
Hear the beckoning bells of glasses
Filled with timely hours.
Things mean things beyond our years...
To understand what's ours.
We do not.

Time is all that anyone has...
That we should disappear.
Believe in trust...
Even though you are unable to keep it.
Foolish humans...
Indeed, it is so.
