Never Forget

by Daniel J   May 8, 2005

Never forget,
the pictures of the faces of so many who died,
past forlorn, no one ever cried.

Never forget,
the souls that they stole as they sauntered by,
in factories of death, they'd utter a sigh.

Never forget,
what they put you through,
cast you aside like a muddy shoe.

Never forget,
from whence you came and to where you go,
and who it is who made you so.

Never forget,
And I do not forgive,
I shall avenge you as sure as I live.

Lest we forget,
The flame of faith though fragile be,
shall last the haze of eternity.
