The charm

by LoVeAbLeShOrTie   May 9, 2005

Silver, smooth and sleek
Is the charm she wears
Shaped like a heart
The inside has been torn straight apart
She wears it around the wrist
The one she used to slit
She once thought the knife was her only friend
Until she was given the charm
The heart shaped charm helps cover the mistake
On her wrist lays a dark heart
It was drawn there the day her aunt died
Never has it gone away
Forever there it shall stay
