I will be okay

You try to control my life
You never let go of my hand
But I can take care of my self
That you have to try and understand

I know you want to be there for me
And to save me from all the pain
But you have to let go a little
Let me walk alone in the rain

I know it will be hard
But from my mistakes I need to learn
And if you always fix them
When your not there where will I turn

Because you won't always be there
To fix everything that goes wrong
I need to solve my own problems
I need to be strong

Because one day I will be on my own
No one to guide me along the way
I will have to make my own decisions
You have to understand I will be okay

I'm growing up and getting older
And I know whats wrong and right
I might not always make the right choice
But things will turn out alright
