The Fickle Sight of Thee

by Eden   May 11, 2005

So subtle the silence within your mind...
It seeks to choke your life...
You are the one to whom I speak...
Yes, you know me so well.
I stood there watching as you drowned my host in love's wake...
But, as you have come to realize,
Everything eventually sleeps.

Can you imagine my irridescent eyes
As I gazed upon you both in such sweet sorrow?
What you thought was approval was merely a scheme within my spiritual mind...
How could you have ever thought that I would "approve" of anyone having My Child...other than me?
How aweful of you to think these estranged thoughts...so heedless...so mindless...
Yet, you are serving your purpose...
You still remain in shadow,
But not for long.
No...your time has yet to come.
You still respect me?
You still fear me?
You should respect and fear me...
For I am neither foe nor friend...
The greatest apathy is dealt to every one soul but my precious wren's.

So, this is a letter to you...little child.
You have much more to grow.
I will tell you that what happens is for a singular purpose, although this purpose serves many others who have their own plans as well.
You get the point...it is so sharp.

Heed this:
You let yourself be blinded by emotion.
I told you that love was a weakness...
...But you did not listen.
Look past the love, hate, and tears and into your dreams.
Dreams are messages from the spirit realm...if you are open enough to see them and understand what they mean.

Heed this:
You were born for either one of two reasons...
To see...
Or to See and Be.
Be the latter...for I would hate to have to shun you from her life forever.
You get the point?
