Underneath the smile,
Underneath the joy,
Is something you never understand,
Something I’m trying to destroy.

The words people say,
The ones I try to ignore,
Break my heart day after day,
But still they say it more.

But hopefully one day,
I can’t stop crying those tears,
So someone can help me,
and I’ll let go of my fears.

One day this will happen
and my life will be just fine,
But until that day,
Ill sit in this broken world of mine.
