And visitations at your work
Had you on my mind constantly
Even the times when you were being a jerk

But then things switched up
You started playing games
Like you expected me to be that naive
And think I was the one to blame

And I'm almost positive
That you thought I would be heartbroken
But that unfortunately wasn't the case
Because I left a few details unspoken

I'm not that kind of girl
That sits in her room and cries
Love is a mysterious thing
But my tears aren't worth some guy

And it's a real funny thing
Now I'm over you; you want me back
Though the only problem is you lost your chance
From the love you seemed to lack

Though I will admit
I was completely taken by you
And I thought we were perfect together
But I guess it takes a few bad experiences to get a clue

I've had too many to count
And I refuse to do it again
And I'm sorry but tears just aren't for me
As I'm letting all my emotions go through this pen

Love can be a wonderful thing
But depends who you share it with
And I was too blind to see at the time
That mine doesn't consist....

At least not with you
And it's better to just let you go
I told you that you were going to miss me
And I hate to say " I told you so"....
