Behind This Pen

by WishingOnAStar   Mar 29, 2006

Theres a young women
Who writes her tragedies down on this paper
Her words are her expression
And with this sanity, she wins in this game like a player

Life throws obstacles at her
Testing how much strength does she have left
But even though she keeps a smile on her face
Doesn't mean that she is really this well kept

She puts on a mask on for others
And maintains her composure to be viewed
Though what you may not know what she feels
Or the hard days that she struggles to go threw

And she pretends that her eyes never shed a tear
Or that her heart never aches
That she perfectly happy
But sometime she doesn't know how much more pain she can take

And behind this pen
Is a story and a life you will never know
But her words explain as much as possible
And at times it feels like this door of agony won't close

But though she feels weak
She continues on threw this voyage that rips her apart inside
And walks down the halls of life
Like she's perfectly content and has more than enough pride

And with these words of passion
You can better understand her heart
That she is like everyone else with problems
And wants help but just doesn't know where to start
