Pain in the rain

by Amby Mae   Sep 24, 2003

Tears flow like the rain outside, nothing can stop the pain inside. Why did I did I even give someone my heart, just so he could take it and rip it apart. I want to live in the dark and prey on sadness like a hungry shark. I’ll cry my heart out day after day, crumpled in a corner is where I lay. You use to make me feel like a goddess in the sky and when you said, “I love you” I would fly so high. Now I sit here in the rain, my heart filled with pain. How was I so easy to let go, I guess I’ll never know. Your smile’s like a drug I’m addicted to, I’m sitting here fighting my addiction of you.
