I told you I didn't trust easily
And you understood
But you said I could trust you
I never thought I would

For a while I was very careful
Not believing what you would say
But it all seemed so true
You made my days not so grey

I started to trust you
I didn't think you would lie
For once in my life
I thought I found a good guy

Everything seemed perfect
For once things were going right
But you proved me wrong
That terrible night

Everything had been going perfect
Or atleast I thought it was
But I guess I couldn't see
That our relationship had flaws

You wanted a break
There was nothing I could say
I couldn't change your mind
So I told you I'd be okay

You had told me you loved me
But that wasn't true
You said you'd always be there for me
But that was a lie too

I thought I meant something to you
But now I see
That I never did
You never cared about me
