Too Young To Say Goodbye

by Kimimilatowin   Sep 26, 2003

You left me without saying goodbye,
Now I sit here and wonder why you had to die.
You were too young to say goodbye.
Now remains are memories of the past.
It just went by to fast.
Sometimes I don't think of you,
But at times I would remember you.
As I write this poem,
Tears roll from my eyes,
But I'm trying not to cry.
You are resting at peace,
I know that you are smiling to be free of pain and misery.
As someone once told me,
Do not think of it as a goodbye,
But a see you later.
I wish I could see you again tomorrow.
To take away the sorrow.
All I can do is sit here,
All I can do is cry.
I miss you so much.
Why did you have to die?
I know someday we will see each other again.
Until then, Rest In Peace my dear friends.
