Still in shock
Though a day has passed
This is the result
Of the aftermath

I feel cold
I shiver uncontrollably
Sometimes I wish
That no one ever told me

I want to hold back
While everyone else is breaking down
I don't want to cry when there are people around

My voice is thick
And my throat is closing up
Why did you have to be someone
That we all knew and loved?

My mind sees blurry visions
Through my own teary eyes
I'm never good at saying
The final unwanted goodbyes
