~This poem is dedicated to one of my best friends. I do not know if I have ever told you, but I really do treasure our friendship and I can never thank you enough for always being there for me. Also known as Gomes, this one is for you.~

Dear Christina,
I really want you to know
That you are someone I treasure so
I wouldn’t trade our friendship for anything
You mean the world to me
You are so strong
And beautiful
You are also really smart
You may not realize it
But you teach me how to be a better person each and every day
You are honest, not mean
But when you say something or tell someone something
It’s usually because you really do care
Some may look at you
And think that you are so strong maybe even shy
But I know a different side
You have feelings too
Whether I show it or not I am always
No matter what
Here for you
I hope you know
This is true
You have been there for me
I come to you
Whether it is just to talk about anything
Or if something is really bothering me
I know you will be there
I can cry with you
I can laugh and joke around
You are a great friend
And I really honestly love having you in my life
Throughout the years I have lost as well as gained, friendships
But I will never treasure any the way I treasure this one
I can never ever say thank you enough
For always believing in me
And caring
Just for being you
Don’t ever change
Because if you do
I don’t know what I will do
Without a wonderful friend like you.
