Tomorrow Cries For Me

Tomorrow cries for me
Because no one else will
When I am no longer here
Because I choked down some pills

Tomorrow cries for me
Because by then I'll be gone
Anyone who didn't know
Will find there was something wrong

Tomorrow cries for me
Because it always knows my pain
It is always with me when I wake up
Carries me through the day and starts over again

Tomorrow cries for me
Because I'm becoming weird and insane
Novacaine couldn't make me feel so numb
And happy that there are people to blame

Tomorrow cries for me
Because I'm yelling into the mirror
Blinded by the fact that my reflection
Is suddenly becoming clearer

Tomorrow cries for me
Because I am unafraid
To take my own life
And bring the shame to my grave

*To those who are thinking of suicide, always remember that you are never alone. I know it's not a good place to be in, so if anybody ever needs to just chat, I'll be right here at my computer chair.

    Great poem. Well written. It touches many hearts that are out there thinking about taking their own lives and I hope you've touched their hearts to think again about suicide.
