Broken inside...

A girl i know is broken inside
although she doesn't know why
it may be her past, it may be her present
but at night what makes her cry?

she always feels sick
but the sick feelings inside
she is just plain depressed
she wishes to die

she harms herself
and makes herself bleed
but she's too afraid to ask
for the help that she needs

she cant sleep at night
all she can do is cry
then when she stops
she asks herself why?

no-one knows
about the tears at night
she wants someone there
to hold her tight

but no-one comes
which makes her feel worse
no-one is there
for her when she's hurt

she See's life as a prison
and she wants to be free
the girl in this poem
just happens to be me.
