Memory remains

by jamie ellen   May 15, 2005

The blood they shed is a distant memory
The battle they fought drips into to there heart’s
Often shadowed by the victory
There are no winners in death we are but left
The innocent eyes of the forsaken wake me in the night
Shaking me from the safety of my reality
I scream inside silently suffering dieing along side
Those trapped by memories
We are but the lost
Ritual sacrifice is some what the begging of our lives
We triumph to fail
It’s in my dismay you will find
I am but a coward a morbid child
Embraced by solitude repressed by the majority
So it appears I live in hues
Abused and drained waiting for the day
The day when I can be free
To live my life to be me
