It's 3 in the morning
and i can't get you off my mind
i just lay there and think
how you're so loving and kind.

I don't understand
why you ever looked my way
when you said hello
I'll never forget that day.

I'm so lucky to know you
and have you as a friend
because knowing you
made my heart unbend.

I still can't believe
that day you asked me out
i was in shock
but there was never any doubt.

Well I'm really lucky to have you
just knowing you are there
makes me feel so happy
and now i always seem to care.
