Paid The Toll

by Damaged Goods oX   May 17, 2005

You saw me cut my arm
the blood rush down my wrist
I could fell the pulse
I was slipping into abyss

There was nothing better,
I forevr know that now
The only right way was this
so now I take my final bow

This darkness feels consuming
it takes my very shape
forever now I will sleep
until that special date

You could have saved me
from this never ending torture
I could have been someone if only
you could have thrown me a lure

So now I wake up from this blackness
this never ending ride
I have nothing left
not even my pride

Why didn't you save me
is it because you have no soul
I had a life I could have survived
if only you paid the toll

So now I have no meaning
I forever have no life
I felt that wonderful feeling before I toke my life

Can you explain to me
a better way to die
when all you ever do all day
is lay down and cry?

I forever exist in life
but never in my soul
I love you ever so much
If only you paid the toll...
