Questions at heart

by Christopher Liau   May 18, 2005

“Forever” what does this mean to me?
Is forever something you can sense?
Is forever a period of time?
A word describing longevity?
Not knowing is my crime.

“Love” what does this mean to me?
Is love something in my heart and soul?
Can love be stolen, bought or sold?
Physical, emotional, memorable?
Is it something that I can hold?

“Life” what does this mean to me?
The simplicity of existence?
Created from the ages past,
Bestowed freely, stolen easily,
The only constant, life is too fast.

Who knows what forever is,
Who knows where love is held,
Who knows the meaning of life,
All I desire is forever with you,
Life long love with my beautiful wife.

    I'm not married lol.

I wrote it when i was so in love with someone that i wanted to marry them, but now things are different. but at least it shows my emotion at the time.

The one made about 'Love" was by far, the best.

I think the ending was very sweet, how lucky is your wife?
