The Heart Broken File

by DarkOpex   May 19, 2005

I sit in the night,
Stitching it back together.
I shed a tear when,
I remember you'd love me forever.

My heart was already cracked,
When you came into my life.
But you ripped it with love,
The dagger, the knife.

You had glued my heart back together,
And replaced the broken smile.
But than you soon broke it,
And put it in your "Heart Broken" file.

And as you forget me now,
I search for more thread.
Because it keeps breaking,
With everything you said.

I was stupid and foolish
From the very beginning.
I knew you'd leave me,
Now my world wont stop spinning.

The pain from the needle,
Cuts through my skin.
And now I cry,
Deep within.

That's the next to be stitched,
Right after my heart.
Glue never holds,
It was breaking from the start.

With all this pain,
Blood, and tears.
I still want to be with you,
For many more years.

I just wish
That the suffering would end.
I want us to be,
More than friends.

All my friends hate you,
For what you've done.
Some even told me,
It should have never begun.

I know they care for me,
And don't want to see me hurt.
But you gave me so much joy,
How could you treat me like dirt?

Just tell me your sorry,
And you love me so.
Love is a river,
You can't stop its flow.
