Love conflicting

by Christopher Liau   May 20, 2005

This feeling deep within my soul,
Pounding, beating, love I hold.

This wonder that my eyes can see,
Celestial, astounding, love for me.

This beauty with me day by day,
Delicate, angelic, takes my breath away.

This partner standing by my side,
Accepting, devoted, in her I confide.

This bond enclosing you and I,
Constant, firm, until we die.

This feeling deep within my soul,
Unrequited, tainted, despair I hold.

This wonder that my eyes can see,
You kiss, you flirt, my jealousy.

This beauty with me day by day,
Sunny, sweet, like spring in may.

This partner standing by my side,
Friend, colleague, no love implied.

This bond enclosing you and I,
Fleeting, fading, doomed, I cry.

The emotions in this one was very strong.

Again, I have no complaints nor do I have any suggestions to make something so perfect anymore perfect.
