Nothing left

This spectacular life
turned up-side-down
i used to smile
but all i do is frown

so many questions
run through my mind
no answers left
nothing left to find

pasting this smile
onto my face,
like nothing was wrong
like i fit into place

i’m the piece
that doesn’t fit
everything i’ved tried
i’ve quit.

i’m empty
nothing here
all there is
is a single tear

placed on my grave
a single black rose
now all i listen to
is how the wind blows.
