Once Again

by Ben   May 21, 2005

Broken glass made by broken men,
Shapes this world.
Loneliness creeping up once again.

The remanence of a civilisation now lost.
We’ve fallen through the cracks of this earth.
Once again,
Darkness surges from the soil,
Now we can’t depend.

The dust of a holocaust is all we leave behind
Ruins and destruction beneath the sky
Society drips further down
As the good are left behind

The blue sky turns black
And a red silhouette shades the ground
No longer can I turn my back

This is where I choose to hide
There’s nothing good left in me
At least nothing you will find

Nothing will ever be the same
The golden sunrise is gone
Replaced by a creeping black cloud
Followed by the oncoming storm

Here we are once again
Caught in the midst of the black mist
The hatred seeps from every pore
And burns within my bleeding wrist

Broken glass made by broken men,
Shapes this world.
Loneliness creeping up once again.
Once again…
