The stars

The stars, silvery orbs suspended beneath the midnight sky
Distant spheres of fire reflecting in the eye
Shining through the treetops bright and full of life
Shimmering on the surface of the lake without pain or strife

Staring up into them suspened in time and space
Forgetful of all but the glittery beings staring upon this place
Gravity no object, float among the heavens this night
Battlefield calls shining presences so bright

Fall under the witchcraft, the magic of the fire
Devoid of all beings, thrilling, passionate desire
Stars echoed shadows wilting flowers on a grave
Pinpricks in the sky, a musical powerful octave

Nature underneath these burning balls of heavenly glass
Sink deep into a coma, whilst staring at the stars
Small holes and blemishes in the blanket of the night sky
Images and memories, seep down from so high

Lie upon the green grass stained with dew
Overpowered by beauty, threads of hope running through
Polka dots of happiness and depression mixed together
Lost high above the oceans bound by the stars forever..
