Paradise

She calls out to the man on the street
"Sir can you help me?
Its cold and i got no where to sleep,
I'm living in a place of misery"

She continues to beg to the man
"Sir do you have change to spare?
the man walks on down the street
its like hes embarrassed to be there

She gets up and walks down the block
looking for the nearest bin,
she rummages through the trash
looking for food and a bottle of gin

she goes back to her cardboard bed
and begins to drink her sorrows away
every night she gets hit by the other men
her life is dark and full of Grey

this is the life of a homeless woman
trying and struggling to be alive
finding clothes and warming herself up
and eating leftovers to survive

so while we are in paradise
and eating and drinking as much as we could
these people are the living the hard way of life
so give money and food to help them, as we should
