You will never understand me
though you say that you do
but you don't even care
thats why i don't want to talk to you

you tell me that you love me
but i can see it in your eyes
that the words that you are saying
are nothing but pure lies

i give you the impression that I'm happy
and that's what you believe
but inside i am broken
and my past refuses to leave

you don't know about my tears at night
but they are always there
i know that even if you did know
you wouldn't really care

you don't know about the scars
that lie underneath my sleeves
when i did them to myself
trying desperately to leave

please don't try to tell me you care
because all it does is upsets me more
because i know that you are lying
and it hurts my heart that is already sore
