Waiting

by Dead As Yesterday   May 22, 2005

Waiting is slow and can be the hardest thing to do
But time slips ever faster when it’s spent with you
Draped in all your mystery secrets you’ve yet to show
The more I learn about you the more I need to know

Questions burn within me bubbling through my brain
Will your love be the real one or leave me hurt again
Explaining the way I’m feeling is something ill try to do
My breathing feels so heavy and my heart it melts for you

A smile burns across my face cheeks stretched far and wide
Because having you come in my life touched me deep inside
Time starts ticking slowly when is seems that your away
But then just like thunder there you are lighting up my day
